Need Inspiration? -Inspired from the Table
Do you need a bit of inspiration today? I’m not sure about you…but our weather here this week has been incredible! Blue skies and great temperatures gave us a beautiful Easter Celebration and memories inspired from the table here.
Guests gathered for that marinated salad, loaded smashed potatoes, delicious pork loin and macaroni and cheese from the grill, fresh asparagus with lemon and Parmesan, deviled eggs, rolls, fruit and the most delicious lemon blueberry layered cake (compliments of my niece).
Isn’t it beautiful? It was so very good!
Now, the Easter bunny hopped by with his candy wheelbarrow which was loved by all…
Isn’t that centerpiece just the most beautiful? A creation my niece made with flowers from her yard. Such beautiful deep pink double tulips, pink dogwood, and daffodils were incredible.
Such a great time of inspiration with feet under our table. From the food, conversation, flowers and laughter, I think we all left a bit more inspired.
If you missed posts this week, the marinated salad recipe was shared as a new tradition. You can find it here.
Bathroom Update!
On Wednesday, we gave an update on the progress on the One Room Challenge bathroom redesign. If you need to catch up, you can find it here. Next week we will share the next steps to get this bathroom finished. Can you be in our cheering section, raising pom poms and cheering us on in the comments? In hindsight, I wish I had logged how many hours we are already into it! Prayers appreciated!
More Inspiration from the web!
- My friend, Crystal, shared such great information about kitchen design this week. Loved it!
- Inspired and so ready to follow Jennifer’s lead on planting a spring vegetable garden.
- And Paducah, our hometown made it to Southern Living’s 16 Best River Towns for Retirement!
- Oh! and we are #35 in the South’s Best Small Towns! I’ll take that!
- These brownies may need to be made for the next gathering of feet under my table!
- If you saw my Dollywood review last year…just a reminder that the food and flower festival is happening there NOW! A beautiful time to visit.
Tomorrow will bring more feet under my table with a family birthday celebration!
The menu this time will include: Grilled burgers, favorite sides and a blackberry cobbler with ice cream.
If you need a great cobbler recipe, this one is a favorite… and if you need individual rustic fruit cobblers, here you go!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend, friends!
Thank you for joining me this morning for a bit of table talk…perhaps it gave a bit of inspiration added to your day…I’d love to hear your conversation back in the comments.
