Fresh Lime Salsa

Equipment

  • 1 food processor
  • cutting board
  • liquid measuring cup
  • knives
  • juicer
  • garlic press

Ingredients
  

  • 28 oz diced tomatoes
  • 4.5 oz green chiles, diced
  • 1/4 C white onion, finely diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 jalapeno
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 C fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 C fresh cilantro

Instructions
 

  • Prepare all ingredients as stated on ingredient list- dicing onion and green chiles, mincing garlic, seeding and chopping jalapeno, slicing green onions, and juicing limes.
    NOTE: Make sure that you wear gloves when handling the jalapeno and keep hands away from face while preparing.
  • Add all ingredients except for cilantro into a food processor and process for 10 seconds or until pureed desired consistency.
  • Add in the cilantro and pulse for 2 seconds.
  • Serve with your favorite tortilla chips or Mexican entrees. Enjoy!
