Top 15 Favorite Recipes from 2025
As I reflect back over last year, I found myself sharing more recipes than any other type of blog post. Over 50 recipes were shared here and on the VUE magazine from Feet Under My Table. Whew. Alot of tweaking, creating, prepping, tasting and sharing recipes happened here. And with all of those? I found a few favorite recipes that you loved or were shared among the bunch.
Would you love to know what the top 15 favorite recipes were?
Maybe you need a refresher or a reminder to revisit some of those that are great for each season. And if you are like me? just adding an item in the search bar here helps me locate my favorites easier than among cookbooks and recipes that seem to be overflowing everywhere. I hope that this blog helps you find favorites, too. That’s been my goal from the beginning. To share family favorites, new creations and even comfort foods that improve life for those who have their feet under your table.
Well, here you go!
1. New Year’s Eve recipes..

I may be cheating here a bit…but, favorite New Year’s Eve recipes include some of the BEST appetizer recipes of the blog. Here are a few of what’s listed in that post.
- cheese roll
- fig and prosciutto pizza
- Captain Rodney’s cheese bake
- Fish cakes
- Spicy goldfish crackers
See what I mean? The BEST food for gathering on New Year’s Eve.
2. Henry Lodge’s Cornbread
Now if you move on to what to cook for New Year’s Day? Cornbread is always a southern favorite. The Lodge recipe for cornbread will not disappoint.

3. Gluten Free Oatmeal Cookies
I know…many of you may not be an oatmeal fan…but these? They changed my taste for oatmeal. This is a recipe that comes with limits. They are just that good. The bonus of these is that even though they provide a great dessert for those who can’t tolerate gluten, they are favorites of those with no gluten issues. A plus for all!

4. Grilled Ahi Tuna Steaks
This recipe has been a favorite for years. There are friends from other countries that when they visit, request this one…it’s that good. Don’t skip ingredients on this one…from the charcoal grill, dill sauce, cucumber, tomato, red onion, and arugula…each amps up the flavor.

5. Double Chocolate Zucchini Bread
Can I tell you that I have to keep mini loaves of this bread in the freezer at all times? If not, my husband will complain profusely. Although his are created with cup to cup gluten free flour, they are perfect with all purpose or gluten free. And they are easy to make year round since zucchini is always easy to be found.

6. Aunt Helen’s Marinated Salad
Even though this was posted many years ago…sharing it again always brings more comments and preparing it in so many places. It stays at the top of my pinterest saves…It’s a favorite marinated salad to take to potlucks, family gatherings, picnics and simply gets better made several days in advance. You have to try this one if you haven’t.

7. Martha’s Vineyard Asian Soba Salad
This salad could be on repeat…a favorite.

8. Grilled Summer Chicken Salad
And, another favorite is this grilled chicken salad. Oh. My. Goodness. If you can grill during any time of the year…put this one on replay. It’s a great large one to share with a group.

9. Crockpot Apple Jam
There are a great number of you who follow me here who LOVE canning as much as I do. What I found this year are a lot of you who don’t can, learned to can after making this jam. And there are a few of you who made this recipe on repeat to gift for Christmas. So easy. So delicious. AND loved by everyone. This recipe won the biscuit jam bar competition for the BEST from my Japanese family and guests this year. Hope you try it.

10. Christmas Nibble Board
This one was fun to make and enjoy. Whatever holiday you are celebrating, a nibble board filled with fruits, cheeses, deli or charcuterie meats, olives, herbs, and veggies are always a hit. Making this ahead makes entertaining easier and is sure to impress your guests. Perfect to create for New Year’s Day, too.

11. English Toffee
I realize this is a holiday favorite recipe…but, I’m not moving this one off the table for Valentine’s. Enjoy!

12. Christmas Cider
I realize Christmas is over…but, so many are still sharing and enjoying this favorite. During cold weather, you can’t beat this warm drink. This one will still be enjoyed New Year’s Eve. Just sayin…

13. Taco Ring
An old favorite that is still a favorite recipe from those who shared and commented.

14. Banana Bread
Even though my husband has never loved banana bread, this banana bread recipe was a home run winner for him. And, for many of you.

15. Campfire S’mores Pizza
Another from the grill that gave new life to favorite flavors. Campfire S’mores pizza was loved.

These were the recipes that were shared and loved by so many this year.
Thank you for commenting, trying out recipes, and sharing. You have truly made my heart happy.
I’ll be sharing more recipes in 2026 here and in the VUE magazine, so I hope that you will follow both. And I’d LOVE to know what you’d like for me to share in the coming months.
