Mexican Super Bowl Recipes
Hopeful that warm weather will clear our driveways of snow so that many can gather for the Super Bowl. Somehow we have become more football watchers this year. Not sure how that happened, but you can be sure I will be making several Super Bowl favorite recipes.
What are some of your favorite Super Bowl recipes?
There are so many that I am trying to narrow down which ones HAVE to be made—whether we have a house full or only the two of us.
What will be your favorite Super Bowl recipes that you have to have? I’d love to know in the comments.
You might be like us and watch the Super Bowl for the commercials. Even the half time has not been a favorite in recent years…so we will see this year.
Here are a few of my favorite recipes for the Super Bowl…
I think we are thinking a Mexican theme here…but, you choose your own favorites!
1. Tiny Tacos.
Seriously. So many of you have shared how much you love tiny tacos. We crave them here.

2. Taco Ring
And while we are talking tacos…this taco ring is ALWAYS a favorite.

3. Spicy Goldfish Crackers
My daughter in law shared these spicy goldfish a couple of years ago. They are addictive and the perfect snack to have while game watching. Although a bit less Mexican themed…the spice makes it a great addition. Sooooo good!

4. Sheet Pan BBQ Chicken Nachos
This recipe is incredible. Made for a game day with a house full during the holidays and it was enjoyed by all. Quick, easy and feeds a crowd.

5. Cheese Roll
A true family favorite cheese roll that is coated in chili powder makes it pair perfectly with the other Mexican themed recipes.

6. Enchilada Casserole
A great enchilada casserole gives a more complete entree offering when you have lots of folks gathering to watch a game or the Super Bowl. We LOVE this recipe. A great addition to the crockpot to make serving easier.

7. Lime Salsa
Salsa and chips are always a good option added to a Mexican themed party. This one is the BEST.

8. Taco Soup
If you need to add in a great soup for the gathering, this taco soup is great. Add it to mugs to make it easier to serve guests. A smaller amount that pairs well with the other dishes.

9. Lettuce Leaf Tacos
Sharing a homemade taco mix if you’d like to give that a try the next time you serve tacos. Offer the taco seasoned meat with lettuce leaves and your favorite taco toppings, charcuterie fashion, and you will have a win with so many guests. These are amazing.

10. Finish with Chocolate
And last, but definitely not least…let’s add some chocolate to end the part…but, let’s go with two ways…
First? Oreo Popcorn. and then…
Cool down the spices with a great chocolate ice cream…

A true Mexican chocolate might have a little cinnamon or Mexican spices added to the mix. Give whatever addition you like a try to the popcorn or ice cream.
Hope you enjoy all the choices and give some of these a try. The warmth of the spices in these dishes just seem perfect for a cold winter’s day sporting event…even if that means adding them to watching the Winter Olympics.
Here are my favorite serving pieces to make serving more festive for the Super Bowl…
There will be a lot of Winter Olympics viewing before and after this year’s Super Bowl…now to decide which recipes to have on my menu…
Happy sports viewing friends…and may your favorite Super Bowl team or Olympic athletes win!
