Instructions
Drain kidney beans, rinse and add to dutch oven or sauce pan.
Add seasoning packet (remove moisture packet) and rice packet to kidney beans.
Add 2 C water.
Slice Italian or smoked sausage into bite sized pieces and add to pot.
Bring to a boil. Then lower to a simmer, cover and cook for 20-25 minutes until rice is cooked.
