Good morning, friends! I don’t know about you…but home tips that are time saving or genius always bring me joy. Do they you, too? Now, if you knew about this laundry sorting tip and didn’t tell me? That means I have been a member of the one sock lost club on so many occasions that I can’t count them all. Are you a member of the “laundry eats socks club”? Where somewhere between the laundry bin and the dryer one disappears? Well, if so, join the club. Last week I heard the best idea I have heard in a long time. Whether you have a family house full to do laundry OR just a few, if you haven’t heard of this one…you are welcome! The BEST time saving tip for laundry sorting EVER! Are you ready? Supply each family member with mesh laundry bags that they can identify by colored zipper or an added tag or ribbon. Have each member add dirty laundry to the mesh bags, sorting by color in separate bags. Keeping laundry in bags from dirty to clean keeps them sorted from beginning to end. No more lost socks. Everyone retrieves their bag and puts their laundry away. Even preschoolers can handle this one. Piles of laundry become more manageable. Need to sort by colors…just buy more bags. If you use dryer sheets? Just add them into the bag before drying. GENIUS, right? Laundry sorting just got easier. From start to finish. No longer does the WORST part of laundry–at least for me with sorting–have to happen. You are welcome! In case you need a few bags for laundry in your life. Sharing shopping links for you here. It is Amazon Prime day…so this may need to be added to your shopping pleasure. Happy Laundry, friends!
