Each Tuesday for the past few months, the blog has featured recipes.

Since I have ventured away from recipes for the past couple of weeks, don’t forget to check out the recipes shared @inthevue.com each month.

As the weather gets more glorious, I’m finding myself focusing more on gardening and projects for the home. Hopefully that may give you inspiration for plants and creations for your home, as well.

Now on to this week’s favorite finds.

  • My friend Jennifer is sharing all the BEST salads that you need for summer menus at Cottage on Bunker Hill.
  • I am so in love with this spring cake from my friend, Leslie, at My 100 Year Old Home. I love how easy she makes it look!

Need more gardening ideas?

I just planted my zinnia seeds this week. It is so easy to do that I can’t believe it. Planted on Tuesday and three days later they were coming up. Can’t wait til they bloom. Here’s the link here to learn more.

Do you need Mother’s Day gift ideas?

I love this list from Lauren at Bless’er House. So many great ideas that you may need for Mother’s Day or other occasions. From Mary Berry, from the Great British Baking Show’s cookbook, her ideas are brilliant.

Here are a few of my favorite gift ideas for Mother’s Day. I’m in love with the Mother Daughter journal that Lauren shared, so I had to add that to my list. What a beautiful way to interact with a daughter and develop relationships with teens and preteens.

If you are a fan of dinnerware or picnic baskets, these were fun. And then, at the top of my gift list is that chic wrap and dispenser. THE BEST plastic wrap (or aluminum foil or parchment paper) AND dispenser that will change your life.

If you need a practical gift, Miss Messy stain remover is my FAVORITE stain removal product. Remember the wedding I shared? This stain remover took all of the berry stains right off of the white tablecloths. Wonderful!

If you need more menu ideas for Mother’s Day, I can help you out here.

This Chicken Enchilada Crockpot recipe is a favorite every time it’s made.

Entertaining Ideas

Wendy never disappoints. I am in love with all of her decorating with little cuties. Wouldn’t they be lovely for decorating an outside gathering this summer?

If you are celebrating Derby Day, here’s the perfect Derby Day Breakfast Version Hot Brown recipe.

And a quick and easy Derby appetizer board.

Have a great weekend, friend!
