Saturday Fall Table Talk Time
Happy Saturday! Thanks for joining me for a bit of Saturday table talk time. Sharing a bit of inspiration from around the internet today.
So…grab your favorite beverage and join me at the table for a bit of talk time.
First, from the table?
It’s fall yal!
Pine cones have been gathered…hydrangeas dried…and they have begun the transition to fall on the inside.
If you missed the post all about it this week? You can click here to find it.
Have you begun decorating for fall yet?
Pine cone creations have begun here with a new pine cone wreath DIY and a candle holder made from pine cones that will help move the fall into the holiday season with a few touches of golds and greens for Thanksgiving and then with Christmas additions afterwards.
Fun, right?
Next on the list of things on the fall table talk list?
Fall recipes have been created over the past few weeks for the next issues of the VUE magazine. Each recipe both there AND here on the blog are tried and true favorites.
I’ll be sharing some of those great new creations with you during the weeks to come.
Meanwhile, this week? Heading to an apple farm to find the BEST apples to create our favorite crockpot apple jam…
AND applesauce. My husband is down to ONE jar left in the pantry from last year…so, it’s time to create more. So thick, delicious, and easy that I can’t imagine not making it.
What other recipes are you making for fall? Here are a few that have been happening–
- loaded potato soup and YES! to my former foods and culinary students…that’s the ONE!
- And yes…we have already had the gluten free chicken and dumplings that we can never tire of in the mix.
A few of my favorite finds from the web this week…
- I’m in love with this door storage idea.
- The truth about the 5 second rule..
- Have you seen the new Kitchen Aid mixer? Swooning over here.
- If you need more pinecone ideas, these made my heart happy.
- Love this idea for pumpkins.
Hope this week finds you filled with peace and looking forward to the change in the seasons. It’s been a week here filled with challenging technology issues that are hopefully now resolved. Has that happened to you?
Have a wonderful rest of your weekend, friends,
