What a beautiful post and one I can totally relate to. I love giving gifts and I always try to put a lot of thought into them and the person. My kids and husband are the same. We do mainly experiences or handmade around here. Those are truly the best in my book. And I’m sorry to hear about your friend, sending thoughts of comfort your way.

So touching. You remind me of my father. He was the best at giving gifts. Not only were they heart felt, he could present a gift better than anyone I have ever known. And, the joy he got from watching our expressions was so amazing.
