Happy Planning for July 4th!
Happy July 4th, friends! Sharing great recipes to help celebration for July 4th with those whose feet are under your table.
What does your week look like?
What finds have you found this week?
With the fourth of July celebrations drawing near, I have had little time to think about planning or celebrations here. All of my family have been in and out with feet under my table since March and it’s been a whirlwind of meals, celebrations, brunches, gatherings, conversation and joy.
But for the July 4th celebrations? Perhaps just a quieter family get together.
On to more joyful finds!
Once again, my friend, Leslie at My 100 Year Old Home, knocked fourth of July decorations out of the park! Here is her version of a Pottery Barn placement.
Aren’t they the cutest? And a huge savings.
Here’s to more July 4th Celebration Ideas!
Always a favorite to cut watermelon slices into stars and add in blueberries for the fourth. The little and big kids love both and the festivity of serving them together.

There’s Aunt Helen’s marinated salad that will be prepared.
My recipe in the June VUE magazine include grilled lemon tuna sandwiches AND a campfire S’more pizza. You can find both recipes by clicking here. Both would be great for your July 4th gathering!
And more favorite fourth recipes from the July issue of the VUE magazine…
The July edition of the VUE magazine is now on news stands…priceless for pickup…or online.
This month I added a great tortellini salad AND a favorite Red, White and Blueberry pie. You can click here for those two recipes. Perfect for the fourth!
The salad is such a great recipe with all the flavors of summer added in!
The pie is a Pampered Chef inspired favorite that is always festive and delicious.
Happy July 4th gathering!
Whether it’s a simple picnic or fireworks celebration…food trucks at the river front like here in Paducah…or a small gathering…let it be memorable and filled with all the reasons that the freedom we share is important.
This article is also in the July issue of the VUE magazine here…just a bit of thankfulness for freedom and how we continue to choose acts of freedom in our daily lives. Hope you’ll join me for a quick read of that here.
Add a little bit of relaxation and rest into your week, friends.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for joining me here,

Our 4th was quiet! It was different but nice! Fireworks were lovely from the parking lot of Gospel Mission across from Trader’s Mall. Ever so grateful for the freedom we have through other’s sacrifices!

Absolutely. Ours was quieter with more reflection.
