I would look for a gluten free bouillon…I am now having to use one that is corn free and gluten free for my husband. Also am using a corn free baking powder, as well. Wheat and corn allergies are new to prepare for…so I am navigating with you for each family member and guest.

Made this for a crowd yesterday (adults and kids), and my gluten-free husband. Everyone loved it! I love cracker barrel chicken and dumplings, and this is very similar.

Lindsay, I’m trying a new batch this afternoon with a gluten free bouillon…hoping that the flavor is still great with this one! We love the flavor with the better than bouillon, but not the effects of the gluten in it. My husband now has a corn allergy added to wheat, raw fruits and vegetables, soy and peanuts. Wish me luck!

Yes. We have had to do that, too. Truly the bouillon just gives more flavor. I have also done without it, but we love the extra flavor it provides.
