Lindsay, I’m trying a new batch this afternoon with a gluten free bouillon…hoping that the flavor is still great with this one! We love the flavor with the better than bouillon, but not the effects of the gluten in it. My husband now has a corn allergy added to wheat, raw fruits and vegetables, soy and peanuts. Wish me luck!

Yes. We have had to do that, too. Truly the bouillon just gives more flavor. I have also done without it, but we love the extra flavor it provides.

I have added a note on that recipe to omit if concerned. I have made these with better than bouillon for many of my gluten sensitive family members with no issues; but, it may be a problem with other or those with celiac’s to avoid. It’s always good to leave it out if you have concerns, for sure. I am always looking for a gluten free version. Let me know if you find one.

I don’t use a gluten free version of the better than bouillon and those who have gluten issues in my family have had no issues with using it. I would avoid for sure for those with celiac’s.

Just curious…do you use a gluten free version of the better than bouillon? It looks like all versions contain gluten according to a google search. I decided to just omit the bouillon and I hope it does take away too much. Would hate for someone with a gluten allergy to make this recipe and trust that all ingredients are gluten free. 🙂
