I used apples from my local orchard haul…I think any apple will do for this one. I always prefer a sweet rather than green apple.

Perhaps this time of year…late in the season…your ferns may have just been too dry to work. I am so very sorry that you didn’t have good luck with it. You might try spraying with an aerosol adhesive on the back, positioning the fern and then layering with the modge podge to seal it. Hopefully that will work. Let me know if it does, won’t you.
