In reply to JACKIE MOORE. I haven't done that with freezer packets, but I think that would work. Just keep in mind there is more juice with the diced tomatoes which may make food saver bags more difficult to seal. With larger tomatoes, I usually go ahead and roast those ingredients...remove skins from tomatoes and garlic, and often the herbs before I add them to freezer containers; sometimes blended and other times left as is after roasting.
