All the BEST Amazon Prime Shopping Finds

Thanks for joining me on this July edition for all of the BEST Amazon Prime Christmas in July shopping finds among the mix…

Do you shop Amazon Prime days? If so…are you already Christmas shopping? There are 23 weeks left until Christmas so…I’m perusing ideas while my mind is clear enough to not be in a rush or overwhelmed.

I began this Christmas shopping early in my teens. My goal was to be finished by August back then. Have I continued that? Why, no! My goodness. But, thinking about heart gifts early is always on my mind. Be watching because I have already been creating gifts this summer so that I have time to not rush and be intentional in my gift giving.

and then there’s back to school happening in less than a month here! Yikes!

Let’s talk about Amazon Prime items to make gifts.

If you love to sew, I have a few projects I’ll be sharing before the holidays.

I realize not as many people sew any more, but for me? It’s a relaxing creative activity that fills my heart with joy. I’d recommend it to all of you if you haven’t given it a try.

When I retired, I left the big computerized monogramming machines at school and purchased a simple Brother Project Runway sewing machine. It’s basic…and I have been tempted to move on up to more bells and whistles. Here’s a great choice from Walmart, perfect to give someone creative a beginning. I know I’m starting away from Amazon, but stay with me!

If you need a great starter machine, give a basic Brother a try. Here’s one that would be a great gift for children or grands in your life who want to try their hand at sewing.

A few years ago, I gave both daughter in laws Brother Project Runway machines for Christmas. If no other reason than repairs, it’s just a great machine to have.

BOTH granddaughters have sewn on their mothers’ machines and it brings me joy to see that.

Now, I know many of you have given it a try and can’t hang…I get it! I am that way with knitting. I’ve tried it under my mother-in-law’s guidance and the stitches just got tighter and tighter…nope…I’ll go back to my sewing machine.

Back to grandchildren again, all of my grandkids LOVE to cook.

My cookware is a hodgepodge of different decades and “new products” along the way. Does yours look like that?

There’s Pampered Chef from my years with the company; cast aluminum from Aunt Helen; stainless steel leftovers from early married years; nonstick varieties; and then my latest addiction? Lodge Cast Iron ceramic coated cookware AND USA pans..both are the BEST!

In the past few years, I have found a product line that I am in love with for baking. If you find USA pans at Home Goods or TJ Maxx, grab them. From cookie sheets, loaf pans and muffin pans, these are unbelievable. You and every baker on your list will love them.

Books for the Readers in your life…

While we are on the subject of books, I have mentioned these before, but these are the BEST books to gift to kids to begin the school year…for teachers…and those graduating.

Amazon Prime finds for travelers on your list…

If you have kids now traveling, a friend shared this under seat carry on bag that is perfect. Room for a laptop, toiletries, clothing, etc. and is a rolling bag. That got my attention!

Any creatives on your Christmas list?

• A friend of mine just shared this microwave flower press…so much easier than the bricks that I used a few years ago.

Amazon has the BEST Back to School shopping…

Since schools begin in August for grands and great nieces and nephews, I have been on the lookout for great deals on backpacks and school supplies.

I may need that backpack…waterproof, tech friendly and great for travel AND school.

Walmart has a great selection of back to school items right now at great prices, too.
